An Mlm Business Model For Success

Have you been in MLM, or Network Marketing, long enough to see the shift in how successful networkers are building their business?

I firmly believe that we have entered into a new era. The days of hotel meetings, hosting home parties, and purchasing expensive leads are behind us.

Why? Because for most of us this is not an easy system to duplicate, and it doesn’t produce a "real" business model for success.

Let me explain.

One of the key benefits of Network Marketing is the ability to leverage your time and efforts. By creating a downline you are able to leverage the collective work of your entire team. If you have hundreds of people on your team, and each person just sponsors two or three people (the industry average) then you can experience massive growth.

The first challenge in MLM is to survive long enough in the business to reach the point of "critical mass", where your business will continue to grow whether you are actively working it or not. Hotel meeting, hosting parties, etc., might work well to get those initial 2-3 associates, but when you run out of warm market leads, where do you turn?

Most of us at one time or another have turned to purchasing expensive internet leads. This is what I did, and while I had many wonderful conversations with people from all over the country, I did not have much success growing my business in this manner.

However, if you learn how to generate your own leads, you are building a real business, one that you are in complete control of.

This can be done by either plugging into an existing system that someone else has put together, or you can study this model and develop it yourself.

First of all you set-up a lead capture page on the internet and start driving traffic to it to start building a subscriber email list. Over time you drip, drip, drip information about your company to these prospects. Some will join today, some next week, some later on down the road…each person will have their own time frame. By tapping into the power of the internet you can build a relationship over time that can grow forever.

By building your own list of prospects, you are also building a real business model for success. You see, once you have a list of subscribers, you can actually use this to create cash flow. For example, say you find a really good service or course on the internet that relates to MLM or Network Marketing, using the affiliate marketing model, you can recommend this product to your list, and get paid a handsome commission if/when they purchase it.

This model allows you to make money outside of your primary MLM company. It allows you to survive financially long enough to actually "make it" in Network Marketing. It allows you to finally get to the point of enjoying the leverage of a large downline!
