There are lots of advantages to having your own home based business.
Working at home can give a lot of delight. You are capable to working when you want, doing the projects that interests you, spend more time with the family. You can work a regular job while building a second income and have a great chance of building a successful business. But with all these great benefits there will come a time when things just not go the way you want it to.
Building a business does take time, work and passion, and in those times of anxiety its really useful to have a few simple strategies to help you in those mean times when they come.
Here are 3 powerful tips to help you keep going.
1. Your Emotions They Can Be Your Friend Or They Can Be Your Enemy…You Decide?
To paraphrase the poet Henley: “You are Master of Your Soul - You Are The Master Of Your Destiny. You emotions if you allow them, will become like wild horses, and its up to you to tame them. Some days you are feelings are up, and then some days you feeling are down.
It’s completely up to you. Its your choice to either go with those feelings or just release them.
Release
And you can release those emotions just by taking a step back, get away from your work. Do something else for 30 minutes, go for a walk, do some exercise, get some coffee. Do whatever suits you. But do get away from that work until you have cooled down.
A business does take time and effort but you can do it and sometimes, not all the time you need to take a day off, to recharge your batteries and then up and start work again.
2. Stay Motivated.
Where ever you work in your home keep treasured mementos. These can be your kids pictures and have some kind of list of what you want around you so you can glimpse at it when you feel some kind of frustration.
Here is a good strategy when you are facing some difficult challenge, and its very simple to do. Just list five to ten things you love about your life and your business. Also write down your goals, and five things that inspire you everyday.
That’s it!
It’s really a list of all the things you appreciate. Doing this simple process, you will feel inspired to carry on.
Just try it and see.
3. Get A Mentor
Do a little research and find someone who is already success in running a home business in your area of interest. Once found try to persuade them to be a kind of mentor for you. Giving advise when you stuck.
But don’t make them feel they are going to lose valuable time. Just make them an offer that will appeal to them. Perhaps a joint venture where you both share in the profits.
On Closing
According to Brian Tracy - perhaps one of the worlds eminent experts on enhancing human potential that less than 5% of the population bothers to write down their goals.
Its is is only this five percent that according to Mr. Tracy actually reach their goals.
When you have time write down all the tings you desire, all the outcomes you want, all the goals you want to accomplish. Look close at your list and think of the logical steps. Start from the end and work your way backwards to the beginning.
What you are doing is taking one big block and broken it down into smaller pieces into a logical sequence of events.
Then all you got to do is keep the momentum and keep going forward.
