Working at home is an ideal solution for many. But how many are willing to work for it? The fact is that many Internet businesses, as many as 90%, fail to succeed. One of the main reasons for this is mindset.
Make no mistake about it, if you want to make a full-time income from home, then you must work for it. While automated income is possible with the Internet, not working at all and bringing in complete passive income is not a reality. It’s a fantasy.
Being an Internet marketer means you have freedom. With no one to tell you what to do, it can be easy to lose direction and get distracted. Without a plan, you may wake up everyday watching videos on the Internet, surfing at forums, and replying to emails, and before you realize it, half the day is gone and no productive work has been done.
Goal setting has been mentioned many times as is viewed as common sense, but yet many people don’t set goals. ‘Getting rich‘ is not a goal. What exactly is ‘rich’ to you? Is it a million dollars? Is it a monthly income of ten thousand dollars? Set a definitive goal that you can reach towards.
Set objectives you must reach to attain this goal. Whether it’s setting up a new affiliate marketing campaign every week or writing 20 articles a week, make sure you achieve your objectives. Nothing great was ever achieved without real, focused action.
Being able to say ‘no’ to people is also very important. Don’t want to go for that dinner? Don’t force yourself. The reason people are always busy is because they can’t ‘no’ to engagements often enough.
