Why Company Provided Mlm Websites Dont Work

I can still recall the first day i joined my company. I was over-joyed at receiving my very own web site with the business kit that was provided me. It enabled me to see visitors coming from various sites such as Google, Yahoo and MSN, and more importantly, see them purchase lots of products! It became easy for people interested in a business to find me through a Google search and sign up under me.
I had this preconceived notion that the business would build itself, simply because I had a web site. I quickly realized that this would not be the case, however. Nobody was visiting my site, except for myself!
You see, there are a number of problems with company provided websites. Let’s examine a couple of these, and then determine possible solutions.
Product Sales & Search Engines
The biggest problem faced by a company provided replicated web site is that it is identical to every other associate’s site in your company. For this reason, it appears as duplicate content to search engines. As a consequence search engines only rank one or two sites highly, and the rest are demoted to internet oblivion!
Business Opportunity Seekers
Search engines despise duplicate content. So with everyone in your business having the same website, very few of you will rank well in the major search engines. Search engines are vital when it comes to getting traffic to your website. So you want to do everything your can to make sure that you’re positioned well in each search engine.
It is also important that you build strong relationships as you grow your business. The way you treat people and the system you offer both play an equal role in getting people interested in joining your business.
Now that you realize what hurdles you need to overcome, let’s identify some solutions, step by step.
The first thing you need to do is get a domain name, and start designing your website. Now some of you may already be cringing in your seats. But let me assure you that getting a website together is not as hard or as costly as it may seem. There are several simple and cost-efficient ways to get you up and running. Your web presence will allow you to build a relationship with your visitors. Since they approach you, they’ll be ready to listen to you as you tell them about your product and/or your business opportunity.
Once this relationship has been forged, you can then start referring your prospects to your company provided site to make a purchase or sign up. This is the only way a replicated network marketing website can succeed.
The other advantage to this system is that it works on autopilot. 24 hours a day, 365 a year. As long as your business provides information on the product and reveals a unique system that a prospect can see as feasible, you are well on your way to creating a successful business. Frankly, a replicated company website will never to this!
My team and I are using this system, and day by day we see our prospect and associate numbers explode. Our company website plays a limited role in our business, but it is not our primary tool.
